About the artist

François Avons, born in 1953, is a French visual artist known for his exceptional talent in painting, sculpture, and teaching art. He obtained a National Applied Art diploma and has since gone on to create masterpieces that have been exhibited in Paris, San Francisco, London and many cities. His fascination with figurative, surrealist, and trompe-l'oeil paintings is evident in his artwork, which he creates on his own upcycled wooden doors, giving them a new life.
